About this Speaker
Heidi Welsh, executive director of the Sustainable Investments Institute (Si2), has analyzed corporate responsibility since 1987. Si2 is supported mainly by subscriptions from large institutional investors. Starting at the Investor Responsibility Research Center, Welsh covered shareholder advocacy and monitored corporate compliance with a Northern Ireland fair employment code. She co-authored CDP’s 2007 S&P 500 report, worked at RiskMetrics (now MSCI), and consulted on GRI guidelines. Welsh is the lead author of three corporate political influence studies and recently assessed the impact of SEC rule changes.
